Bouquet Subscription FAQs

“What is a bouquet subscription?”
We are your weekly dose of sunshine! Fresh flowers are brought directly to your door weekly for either 4 or 8 weeks. Simply place the provided container back out on your porch with a couple of inches of water, and prepare to welcome the joy of fresh flowers into your life every Friday during your subscription period!
“What if I’m thinking about a subscription, but I’m not at home during the day and wouldn’t be available to accept deliveries?”
You don’t need to be present for delivery. We will contact you by email as the time nears for your subscription to begin. You will choose a location for your drop-off, preferably under some cover.
“Where is the best place to have my bouquet delivered?”
A place out of direct sun or rain, like a front porch, or at least a shady area.
“Does my delivery bouquet come with a vase?”
We will provide a container on your first delivery, with a couple of inches of water to ensure that your flowers remain fresh until you bring them inside to your vase. Your bouquet will come wrapped in a kraft paper sleeve along with a flower food packet, simply mix with water and add it to your vase to keep them fresh longer.
“What flowers will I be getting?”
Our flowers are grown right here in Niskayuna and change with the season. Early in the season, we have flowers that grow in cooler temperatures, like Snapdragons, Sweet William, and Campanula. As summer warms up, we’ll transition to warm-season tender annuals like Sunflowers, Zinnias, and Lisianthus.
“I’m going on vacation, what should I do about my flowers?”
Typically, you might ask someone to stop in and feed your pet, pick up the mail, or keep an eye on things while you’re away. Similarly, we suggest you ask a neighbor or relative to stop at the end of your delivery day to pick up your bouquet and enjoy it while you’re away.
“I can go to a supermarket and buy flowers for less, why should I buy from you?
You know us. We live and grow in your town. Much of supermarket flowers are shipped in from other countries, grown with greater chemical use, and must be disinfected just to cross the border into the U.S. and not bring in any “hitchhikers” (bugs). We only sell locally. We aim to boost the outlook of our neighbors by providing a high-quality product, close to home so fresher longer, impacting your carbon footprint as little as possible. Using organic, sustainable methods, boosting soil health, feeding pollinators, and keeping chemicals out of the environment.
“Can I come to your farm and buy a bouquet?”
Unfortunately, we are not permitted to have customers physically on our property. We operate only under a delivery business model.
